SCHOOL ADOPTION

Indian Factory aims to develop a world where no child remains uneducated due to scarcity of resources. Taking the motto of “Education for all” ahead, Indian Factory took over the responsibility of an underprivileged school in the Gadas village of Barmer district in Rajasthan. This school existed only on the papers for the government officials. No teachers, no mode of communication, no enrolled students, no books, no bathrooms, no availability of water. Only one room which had cattles grazing around. Indian Factory renovated the whole structure. Proper finished walls, new and clean bathrooms, new stationery materials, newly appointed teachers, rain water harvesting for availability of water, solar panels for electricity and what not. The outcome of this initiative taken by Indian Factory is that today this school has 73 enrolled students who study everyday to safeguard their future.

SCHOOL ADOPTION

Indian factory aims to develop a world where no child remains uneducated due to scarcity of resources. Taking the motto of “Education for all” ahead, Indian Factory took over the financial responsibility of an underprivileged school in the Gadas village of Barmer district in Rajasthan where not only books but also stationery was a rare item to be found.

Starting the growth of the school on 15th August, we began the journey with flag hosting, something which is celebrated with great pride in India but was never celebrated in this school before Indian Factory took over. Build in the extreme region of desert area of Barmer, this school was rarely visited by people. 73 years it had been since India got its independence from britishers but the Tricolour was never hosted in this school. We had to make people realise of the importance 15th August had in History of Indian Freedom struggle. We feel great pride in starting our journey for the development of this school on the day when India broke its shackles to break free from slavery.

Not just letting WOMEN EMPOWERMENT remain a word but actually letting women have equal stage as to men. For the first time in this village was a woman ever asked to share the level same as that of a man. Young children feel more comfortable when they are taught by women therefore we appointed women as their master teachers. It had two positive results, one where children felt more comfortable which lead to the school maintaining good attendance and also women getting more employment for their growth.
